Marathon

A Unique Venue

Starting at mile marker 65, Marathon’s most distinctive features are the new and old Seven Mile Bridge which bisect the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. The old bridge provides a unique venue for shooting. Pigeon Key, a tiny historic island, is accessible through the northern portion of the old Seven Mile Bridge. The island features small clapboard houses, a wooden pier and boat dockage. Marathon also has a lighthouse, a newly renovated airport, dolphin facility, marinas, Crane Point Hammock, Sombrero Beach and a range of accommodations.
